Crashed it? Good. Let's fix it.

Crashing, fixing, and flying again is how every pilot learns. Find the fix below, grab your kit's manual, or ask us directly. A real person replies on WhatsApp.

Build manuals

Your manual travels with your kit.

Every kit comes with its full step-by-step build manual, shared with you when your order is confirmed. Lost it, or need it on another device? Message us and we'll send the PDF again, free, forever.

Fix it yourself

Common problems, straight answers.

The problems below cover most of the messages we get. Try the steps in order; if you're still stuck, send us a photo or short video on WhatsApp and we'll debug it with you.

Flight & Trim

My plane won't climb, or it climbs and then drops its nose
  1. Check the centre of gravity first. Balance the plane on two fingertips at the point marked in your manual; the nose should dip very slightly.
  2. If it is tail-heavy it will pitch up, stall, and drop. Add a little nose weight and try again.
  3. Launch firmly, level, and straight into the wind at 60 to 70 percent throttle. Never throw the plane upward.
  4. Make small stick inputs. Most first-flight crashes come from over-correcting.
The plane keeps turning or pulling to one side
  1. Look down the fuselage from the tail. Wings and tail should be square and level; re-seat them if not.
  2. Check that control surfaces are centred when the transmitter sticks are centred. Use the trim buttons in small clicks.
  3. Confirm the propeller is mounted the right way around; a reversed prop gives weak, uneven thrust.
  4. Trim in calm air: fly level, then click trim until the plane holds a straight line hands-off.
My glider dives to the ground, or floats and refuses to go forward
  1. Diving straight down usually means nose-heavy: move or remove ballast weight slightly rearward.
  2. Floating, porpoising, or stalling in waves means tail-heavy: add a little nose ballast.
  3. Aim for a long, flat glide from a gentle level throw. Adjust in small steps and re-throw.
  4. Bend the elevator up a millimetre at a time only after ballast is right.
Any tips before my first flight?
  1. Pick a calm morning or evening (wind below 10 km/h) and a wide open field away from people, trees, and power lines.
  2. Do a range check: walk 30 steps away with the transmitter and confirm controls still respond.
  3. Launch into the wind, climb gently to a safe height, and make wide, flat turns.
  4. Keep flights short at first. Land into the wind with the nose slightly up, and cut throttle before touchdown.

Repairs

I broke the wing or fuselage. How do I fix foam?
  1. Use foam-safe glue only: hot glue, UHU Por, or foam-safe CA. Regular CA (superglue) can melt foam, so test on a scrap first.
  2. Line up the break, apply a thin bead, press for 30 seconds, and let it cure fully before flying.
  3. Reinforce a repaired wing with clear tape along the break, top and bottom. It adds strength for almost no weight.
  4. Crashing and fixing is part of the hobby. If a part is beyond repair, message us on WhatsApp for spares.
A control surface (elevator/rudder) came loose or feels floppy
  1. Foam control surfaces hinge on tape. Peel the old tape off gently and clean the surface.
  2. Re-hinge with a single strip of strong clear tape along the top of the joint, then flex the surface fully both ways.
  3. Check the pushrod is still clipped into the control horn and the horn is glued firm.
  4. Centre everything with the transmitter on before you fly again.

Electronics & Radio

The motor doesn't spin at all
  1. Charge the battery fully, then connect it and listen for the ESC's startup beeps.
  2. Make sure the throttle stick and throttle trim are at the very bottom when you power on; most ESCs refuse to arm otherwise.
  3. Power on in the right order: transmitter first, then the plane's battery.
  4. Check every plug: battery to ESC, ESC to receiver. A half-seated connector is the most common cause.
  5. Still nothing? Message us on WhatsApp with a short video and we'll debug it with you.
The transmitter won't connect (bind) to the plane
  1. Put fresh batteries in the transmitter; low batteries cause weak or failed binding.
  2. Follow the bind steps in your kit manual exactly (usually: hold the bind button while powering the receiver, then power the transmitter).
  3. Keep the transmitter about a metre away while binding, not touching the receiver.
  4. If the servos twitch but the motor stays dead, that's an ESC arming issue, not binding. See the motor entry.

Batteries & Charging

How do I charge and store the battery safely?
  1. Use only the charger included with your kit, and never leave a charging battery unattended.
  2. Charge on a non-flammable surface, away from anything that burns.
  3. Store batteries at about half charge if you won't fly for a week or more, and keep them out of direct sun.
  4. STOP using any battery that is swollen, punctured, or smells sweet. Do not charge it; move it somewhere fireproof and replace it.
How long does a flight last, and can I buy spare batteries?
  1. Expect roughly 10 to 15 minutes per charge depending on the kit and how hard you fly.
  2. Land before the battery is empty; flying to zero shortens battery life.
  3. Let the battery cool for a few minutes before recharging.
  4. Spare batteries and chargers are available; ask us on WhatsApp.

Orders & Manuals

How do I get the build manual for my kit?
  1. Every kit includes its full step-by-step build manual, shared with you when your order is confirmed.
  2. Bought a kit and need the manual again? Message us on WhatsApp with your name and kit, and we'll send the PDF right away.
  3. The Learn section also has free build guides and aerodynamics basics for every builder.
When will my order arrive?
  1. Orders are dispatched in 1 to 3 business days and delivered across India in 3 to 7 business days.
  2. You'll get tracking details on WhatsApp once your order ships.
  3. Need an update? Message us on WhatsApp with your name and order details.

Workshops

How do I book a workshop for my child or school?
  1. Head to the Workshops page and use the enquiry form: pick a format, tell us the group size, city, and rough dates.
  2. It opens WhatsApp with everything filled in, and a real person replies with options and pricing, usually the same day.
  3. Formats run from one-on-one sessions to full school and college programs. Every participant earns a completion certificate.
